Dr. Pedro Luciano Mellucci Filho treats the full spectrum of vascular disease, with a particular focus on access. Careful diagnosis and management grounded in scientific evidence. We receive patients from across São Paulo state, Brazil and Latin America for access creation.

A complete vascular assessment — clinical exam, ultrasound where indicated, and a plan you understand before you decide.
Solid surgical training
Board-certified vascular surgeon holding both subspecialty certifications — endovascular surgery and vascular Doppler ultrasound — and a doctorate in Surgery from UNESP.
Complete consultation
Appointments with the time they deserve and Doppler ultrasound performed during the visit: immediate diagnosis of venous or arterial disease to guide treatment in the same consultation.
What we stand for
Honest medicine is medicine that welcomes scrutiny. Every recommendation here comes from real evidence — published, peer-reviewed and openly debated — never from promises.
- Against pseudoscience: "miracle" infusions, unproven therapies and treatments sold as guaranteed cures.
- Against overtreatment: no test or operation for convenience — if it does not change the outcome, it is not done. A patient is never a commodity or a production target for the surgeon.
- For transparency: you hear what the evidence shows, including when the best course is to wait or not to treat.
Area of focus
Vascular access for haemodialysis and chemotherapy
Patients on dialysis or chemotherapy need an access that works well and lasts. That is where most of my surgical practice is concentrated, working alongside the nephrology and oncology teams.
- Arteriovenous fistula creation
- Revision and salvage of occluded or low-flow fistulas and grafts

- Tunnelled long-term and temporary dialysis catheter placement
